dracula.

halloween turned out exactly how i wanted it to. i woke up and it was cloudy. i was at work and it started raining. my wild, friday night was going to a play with my mom. then i went home and had a cup of tea and watched svu. perfection.

my co-worker, shaley, is addicted to the stage life. she's always in the coolest performances (she's going to mexico in february as part of an international theatre festival, that's how legit she is). so when she told me that i needed to come see her tech skills in cuesta's dracula (the first time she's done behind the scenes work in a show) obviously halloween night was the night to go to this one.

escaped insane asylum patients "greeted" up as we found our seats and then creeped us out as they wandered the aisles between the chairs and climbed the scaffolding behind us, while moaning, laughing and drooling. the show was great, with wonderful props, lights and stagework. but maybe I'm just biased.

happy saturday and happy november!

p.s. we're already playing christmas music at the store.
