real weekends.

this past weekend was the first one in a long time where the weekend felt like a real weekend.

friday morning i worked at the office, then went to a "wine down" at baileyana winery with my momma. good food, good tunes, amazing views.

saturday i didn't have to work til two and i lazed my morning away baking strawberry scones and reading stephen king's 'the shining'. then after work some of steven's friends came over and we bbq-ed some delicious food.

and here's sunday. slept in til 9, which was fantastic. then made some breakfast slowly and headed off to work. plus i've got some yummy leftover bbq for my lunch break.

i may work every day but the fact that i don't have to do homework or go to class when i'm not at work is absolutely blissful.
