the past week i've been petsitting for my favorite family. this little guy, finn, doesn't get left behind often. robyn takes him to coffee, dinner, shopping - everywhere. i brought him to work last sunday mostly because i thought it'd be hilarious. finn loves being held constantly so i figured he would be pretty ok with being worn in a baby carrier for several hours.
he was more than happy. and so distressed when i left him alone on monday that i asked ariana (boss lady) if i could bring him for the rest of the week. she gave me the ok (thinking it was totally hilarious too) i ran back on my lunch to grab him. we've been hanging out all week.
finn has gotten a ton of attention. random people who have no interest in the store have wandered in to take a closer look, seasoned ergo moms have cracked up over my "baby", and just today i sold an ergo based on how comfortable he looked while in it.
i've made sure to walk him around on my breaks and we walk to and from work but i swear this dog would be happy to never use his legs again. it's gotten to the point where i pick up the ergo at work and he's right at my feet, tail wagging wildly, ready to go in and cuddle for the entire day.
totally exhausting to cuddle, sleep, growl at the fedex guy, and look cute all day.
also, can we talk for a second about how awesome it is that i have a job where
i can bring a dog to work?
happy thursday!
