apparently christmas miracles are still happening. i would have been satisfied by the rarity of sleeping in on a monday. or enjoying a sunny walk into town to see the newest hunger games movie this afternoon with my momma (not that 70 degree days in december are a real phenomenon in slo). or even the stunner of forcing myself (and my very sore legs) to go on a sunset jog. regular exercise - woof!
the real christmas miracle came after all of this when i checked my email and found that a new section of art 122 (aka basic digital photography) opened up! it might not be related to anything career minded but it sounds 100% more "learn by doing" and interesting than public relations. and hopefully it will counteract the terrifying fact that i need to get through a lecture and lab on rocks (aka geology 102).
and who knows, maybe i'll finally learn how bloggers make their photos look so gorgeous. and not like they used cliche picasa photo editing to try and create a distinct focal point. i think it's time to move past the photography technique i had when i was twelve.
