due to the fact that the excessive amount of pictures i took during my various birthday celebrations i'm breaking these posts up so as not to overwhelm ya'll with pictures (and to {maybe} ensure that i'll post everyday)
i've heard fantastic things about golden gate park so i decided that that's where i wanted to go. let me preamble by saying that should you also think golden gate park is cool and want to visit it, make a game plan first. the place is huge - go figure - and if your boyfriend isn't into flower gardens, the beach and historical homes you have a long afternoon ahead of you.
that said - darryl was great. he was brave enough to ask other touristy, middle aged people to take our picture by the windmill and kept his mutterings of "rich people" to a dull roar while driving through the surrounding neighborhoods. before you knock him off as insensitive - wait for future blog posts. and he did drive my beautiful chevy sonic everywhere for me. (see that gem in the last picture)
stay tuned for darryl seeing golden gate bridge for the first time. {WHAT} yes, he's lived in the bay for almost three months now.
