meet my favorite gardening pal, jinx. it's either him or a sassy blue jay, whom i've yet to capture in a photo.

there it is folks! my first tomato. couldn't be more proud.

jinx checking out my pallet project. the idea is to create planter boxes between the slates. i think it will look fantastic once things start growing but right now it's a little sad. 

my days off generally revolve around some sort of project going on in here. it's my happy place of the moment. that and my bedroom chair reading harry potter and drinking double ipa beer. firestone's double jack? yumyum! 

tomorrow i'm headed to six flags magic mountain and could not be more excited!
