i'll admit it. i'm a little creepy. wouldn't want to let all the windows in this apartment go to waste! so when i saw my neighbors lowering their couch from the balcony into a truck and moving out i took it all in. and when the cleaning crew had left and the door left ajar, i just couldn't help myself. i had to take a peek!
now i'm a huge fan of all things historically slo - which my house is! i'm also wildly obsessed with unique architecture and looking at houses. if you're not, probably don't continue checking out this lengthy, pictorial post of my neighbor's apartment. sounds creepy, probably is, but no harm done!
the view from their balcony. goodness i love me some slo mornings!
also the view from their balcony. good to know they can see that clearly into my kitchen. speaking of creepy...
holla! unique-ness coming through! how incredible are these?!
and this steel peephole?!
gorgeous natural light in one of the bedrooms.
view from the back door. they have a balcony running around half of the building. if that's not cool, i don't know what is.
and our beautiful street view. free of cars because it's summer. and the number of creepy vans with cats living inside has greatly decreased! i'm not kidding, that actually happened.
this cat may not live in a van but he thinks he can live just about anywhere. his actual home is across the street but he frequents my garden and sometimes my kitchen when he can squeeze himself through the door. meet jinx.
when all is said and done, i wouldn't trade my apartment for this one. one can't help but feeling slightly off balance on what seems to be a slanted floor. pretty sure they have termites. although maybe those would be better than the rats i have. and they don't have a yellow kitchen.

and as it's my "sunday", excuse me while i keep drinking cups on cups of coffee (in my yellow kitchen), looking at blogs and taking a jaunt down to my garden. stay tuned for pics on that!
