3/3/15

small biz, big love.

the biggest event in ecobambino history happened yesterday and it was so, SO fun. head honchos of awesome companies, lots of wool diapered babies, super cute moms and a few sleepy looking dads. there was  lots and lots of coffee. oodles and oodles of cookies (which i had a minor breakdown about making the night before. over it) and a massive box of cinnamon rolls.

i got to strut around with my camera, taking pictures of ALL the babies and turned my finest shade of pink when one of said head honchos complimented me on working at the most beautiful store AND being a photographer. to which ariana, my boss, added on, saying that i did all the chalkboards for the store AND the instagram content too.

i had a blast and i can't wait to be a part of bringing more events like this to ecobambino's little corner of monterey street. but i'm not one to sit back and just let these things trickle in. taking these pictures and posting them on our fan page for the enjoyment of mamas all over san luis obispo, i realized what a far cry they are from the event photos i admire through the blogs i follow. just more motivation to do better every day. i'm already wildly proud of the fact that my photos are being reposted by brands that are huge in the industry, that i get called an "amazing artist", and people stop and stare at the window displays i get to play in and create.

but before this starts to sound like bragging...

happy tuesday!
