divine.

i guess posting twice a month might be the new norm. considering i have about 1 full day off each month, in which i either am supremely lazy or adventurous (or some mixture of the two) this ratio seems about right to report on things that aren't work. because let's face it - how much can i really talk about the creative social media projects i do?

fact: i could talk about them a lot. ask steven. that guy hears more about my pompom making exploits, itsy-bitsy infant onesies we just got in, and displays i made out of toys than any other poor soul out there.

what happens far more frequently are my saturday half days, in which i work in the morning and then adventure in the afternoon. last saturday included checking out a new extra hipster plant/knickknack shop next to piedemonte's, my new favorite deli (now that sal's is gone), bringing a sandwich to central coast brewery, enjoying a few brews in the sunshine (did i mention it's been in the high 70s here?), then heading to the beach to surf as the sun went down. i'd call that a half day win.

exciting plans for the future include: the next two sundays off (what?!), dreaming about combining my half saturday and full sunday to run down to santa cruz and explore, brunch at novo (because steven's sister is amazing and got him a gift card there for his birthday), and a work dinner at cafe roma (fancy, fancy). it's very likely that some ocean, sunsets, thrifting, wine and beer might work it's way into the future as well. but we'll see about that.
