there's been a complete whirlwind of change and movement the past month. 

this included -

savoring my last moments at the peppered palm and my neighborhood walks

starting a new job (more on that later)

moving my mattress into the living room after all the other furniture was gone

waiting til the very last minute to pack and clean (no surprise there)

saying a very heartfelt and loving goodbye with my landlord of two years who i absolutely adored in all her quirks and eccentricities

spending a lot of time with a patient, loving guy - steven- who helped me more than he could have moving & cleaning

selling (some of) my belonging at the swap meet with roosters cock-a-doodaling all morning long next door

enjoying a new walking route to work

meeting new people, friends and connections

shopping at farmers every week for produce and making some amazing, locally-grown food with steven

enjoying the summer air with sunday bbqs and back deck beers

as someone who hates transition the past month has been hard. but i feel lucky to live where i do, work where i do, and have the people in my life that love me in the way they do.
