another week has come to an end, more specifically week 2 of my winter quarter. i might just have to bust out a paper chain - sadie mae style - to celebrate the fact that graduation is marching ever closer. right now that day couldn't come soon enough. i've been leaving my geology lab close to tears each thursday (only four more on campus meetings of those, thank goodness). before this turns into a rant about how bitter and grumpy i am, let me take a breath and say what i am happy about.
uplifting, inspiring posts like this. jottings of joy indeed.
swoon worthy winter soups. and the bowls they are in. i go crazy for dishware. this is not a joke.
unapologetic blogging. props to this lady and this lady doing what they love and not being sorry.
seeing this on late afternoon and being able to say - hey! i know exactly where that is - can you?
and now off to the (3 day!) weekend. taking my christmas tree down + working a lot (because i didn't wednesday) doesn't make for the most exciting few days but at least i won't be squinting at damn rocks trying to understand the chemical components of crystals. there's a positive statement in there somewhere.
happy friday!
Thanks for the shoutout!! :) also why are you taking geology??
ReplyDeleteoh you know.. just waited til the last minute to take a science lab before i can graduate and this was all i could get. share your 12 year old rock love with me!!
