you know those friends that you haven't seen in many months and can still sit and talk for hours with? (i really hope you do) well for me that friend is julia. i've known this girl so well since 8th grade when we were best friends forever. 10 years later.. (wait! seriously??) very different college experiences (she went to berkeley, i stayed at cal poly - you do the mind work on that one) and multiple trips around the globe (for her, she recently got back from traveling through indonesia) we can still sit in the hot tub at her parent's house, where i distinctly remember taking pictures for high school dances. drink wine (have i mentioned we share the same birthday and are now both 22, weird). and talk for hours and hours, i swear i will never get sick of hearing about this girl's adventures and being able to share absolutely anything that's on my mind.
she's constantly on the move so i catch her when i can. even if it means that i have 7:40am class the next day. let's just say i'm thankful for coffee (but when am i not?) and that the sun is shining today. and that i don't have time to breathe, let alone be tired today.

p.s. those fine looking mailboxes? yeah that's my front porch. i'll never get sick of being obsessed with the peppered palm.
