wandering about downtown san francisco was exactly as good as anticipated. no. actually it was better. discovering street fairs will do that for you. maybe not you but i'm obsessed with them.
i'm in love with the contrast in this city between super old buildings, that probably have so much history stored in them, and the new skyscrapers that leave me awestruck and always looking up. between that and my camera, i know i looked like a damn tourist. or a sophisticated blogger. more likely the former.
and the people watching here? ohmygoodness. i sat for probably a solid hour with my delicious cup of coffee and an onion bagel and watched all the fancy business people walk in heels like they just didn't care. people in this city have skills. and probably more masters degrees than i could ever imagine.
even with the parking tickets, i really like this city. i'm going to be sad to leave tomorrow.
but back to reality! and my super, soft bed and quiet corner of slo.
