due to my inability to be idle for any large amount of time, i got a second job. unlike albertsons, where i cringe at the thought of writing about my experiences and potentially being fired, this job is filled with hilarious incidents and lots of singing and laughter. it helps that the servers are (for the most part) all girls.
so what exactly am i doing? waitress-ing at a retirement home. the residents make me smile every day. (not just saying that because this will be public on the world wide web). they really truly do. just the other day i had a woman sing me a song about the cookies.
so now that you have a little foretasting of this job, i'll try to blog at a somewhat higher frequency. because unless i can blog about work, there's not much else to blog about. (sad, but true).
but this friday morning i have a rare time opening and so hiking madonna mountain is on the books.
